These are the rules for this Role Play, and they must be read because some of the rules aren't generic ones. So read em' up~
1. Respect the leaders (If you don't... *cracks belt* ;D)
2. Respect others
3. Do not invite random people to the map, that means do not give out the map download to non-members
4. Please refrain from using crude language though cursing is aloud, but not repeatedly
5. This Role Play has a ONE 1 UNO UN EIN AMHÁIN ENA UNUS EN character limit! That means you can't have more than one character if you still haven't interpreted this complex rule.
6. You ARE NOT aloud to kill off your character without permission from a mod or admin. "I'm bored with my character" is not a valid excuse. You don't like this? Well life sucks. Having a whole hoard of characters to keep track of can be irritating. Also, people seem to ignore their other characters when they are NEEDED. This will prevent people from being infuriated.
7. This is a literate RP. That means you have to use punctuation and grammar. It's understandable if you become lazy after hours of Role Play and only post one sentence, but if you are one-sentence Role Playing every time you decide to come on, that is a sign of laziness. This will not be acceptable.
8. No god-modding, power-playing, etc. This is a fantasy RP, of course, but making your character the most special thing on the planet and giving it extra powers from birth that can kill someone in one shot just won't do. Don't ruin things for yourself.
9. As stated above this is a fantasy RP, which means it is unrealistic. That means colors and character designs have no boundaries! Have fun.
10. Do not bring up touchy subjects such as politics, religion, or repeatedly bringing up your in real life problems and ruining everyone's day. These topics can start heated arguments, so keep things care-free and happy. Everyone will enjoy OOC conversations much more.
11. Going along with rule 2, do not bully other members or constantly bother them. Just…don't be a grade school kid pestering others in the school yard. It is EXTREMELY childish. If you have a problem with someone don't let your hatred build up, but don't let it out angrily on them either. Ask them to stop nicely and if that mature approach fails, talk to the admins or mods. I know this sounds generic but it solves things...much more quickly.
12. Do not copy others, because they have a copyright for their character stories or concepts. Honestly, this shouldn't even have to be mentioned. Be original!
13. Stay active! If you don't you will be kicked. But if you are still active and had to suddenly go somewhere for a while, whisper one of the admins and they will let you back in. You shouldn't be inactive though, you join a Role Play because you want to Role Play! Not because you want to show up for one day and disappear, but if those are your intentions from the beginning just...seriously?
14. NO EATING OREOS!!!!! EATERS WILL BE RAN OVER! ~Oreos
15. Since there is money in this Role Play you must put the amount of money your character has in your in-game bio so you can keep track of it and everyone else as well if need be.
16. You must put whether or not you have a power in your in-game bio so everyone knows. If you have a power indicate which one it is.
17. OOC conversations, AKA Out Of Character, are in the group chat so that even if people aren't in the map they can talk to you. IC conversations AKA In Character, are in the general chat so that the group OOC conversations do not mingle with Role Play. If you fail to abide this simple rule you will get a time out.
18. Going along with rule 7 this is a literate RP, and if I, Silvertide, or any of the other people in the Creator Crew think you aren't being literate enough, you must listen to them. Honestly, we aren't that picky in this Role Play! We don't even ask you to post ten paragraph posts and have absolutely perfect spelling and grammar; we just ask that you don't post quick two sentence posts with incorrect punctuation. I don't mind different styles like talking in first person, but if you switch from present, to future, to past tense and then over to third person, it will not be aloud. Capitalize your sentences, use commas. If your RP sample to get into TSJ was good enough but then you slack off, at least try and RP literately instead of making one sentence illiterate posts with no capitals or commas or quotation marks for speech. That is unacceptable and can get you kicked from the group. Don't complain about this RP being picky when you dit it to yourself. There were rules for you to read and you would have gotten a warning. I, Silvertide, am even willing to teach you how to be literate, so please, abide this rule and rule 7 so that I don't have to kick members out.
19. You must indicate whether or not your character has skills in both your forum and in game bio. If your character has a skill or has skills put(actually, the in game bio part is optional)
20. You can only have a max of four skills. No more.
21. This isn't so much a rule as it is a reminder, but you may not let OOC affect your character in game in any way. To prevent this from happening, I'd suggest that you don't say stuff that will give away stuff about your character. And when I say OOC, I mean it in more ways than one. If you're looking for someone IC, don't just find the dot on your map and run to them. At least RP out how you found them.
